Alastair Clark founded Wellington Films in 2000 with producing partner Rachel Robey, and in 2005 they were cited by Screen International as Stars of Tomorrow.
Their BAFTA nominated debut feature, LONDON TO BRIGHTON (Edinburgh International Film Festival 2006, Toronto International Film Festival 2006) was released to widespread critical acclaim by Vertigo Films and has since been named by TimeOut London as one of the top 100 British films of all time.
Other credits include BETTER THINGS, (Cannes Film Festival – Critics Week 2008, Toronto International Film Festival 2008); UNMADE BEDS, (Sundance Film Festival – World Cinema section 2009); CRYING WITH LAUGHTER (Best Film at BAFTA Scotland 2009).
They have also produced over 30 short films for festivals and TV, including ROYALTY by Paul Andrew Williams, and THE DARK by Tom Hemmings starring Toby Jones.
Alastair has taught on many film production courses, including at the Met Film School, National Film & Television School, London Film Academy, Nottingham Academy, Film London Microschool, Film Business School, FilmTrain and FilmWorks.
