The project comes out of the success of QUAD Shorts, which was designed to give film-makers the chance to produce new work and was supported by Creative England. Shine A Light links film-makers with over 60’s groups to provide older members of the community an opportunity to show that retirement and old age is a time to enjoy our passions, as well as learn new skills.

12 short films have been commissioned over the two years of the project. All films will be shown at a private screening and submitted to national film festivals.
